Pigeon River Mountain Retreat features over 3 miles of glistening riverfront along the famous Pigeon River, in Clyde, NC. The property is divided into 3 areas: Group A with 3 homes, Group B with 3 homes and the Panther Creek Farmhouse & Pavilion. In addition to the lodging, we offer exquisite venues for all types of events, from weddings to corporate meetings to family and friends’ reunions.

Group A, a favorite of all our guests, provides an added bit of luxury, with private riverfront access at the Pigeon River Manor, hot tubs in two of the 3 homes and magnificent mountain views. These lodges, with 10 bedrooms, range between one quarter mile and three-quarter miles apart, so unless you love to hike, you can drive or use one of our rented UTVs. Two of these homes have amazing game rooms with pool table, PS5, gaming tables, arcades, and more.

Group B lodges are closer together on the property and can be accessed on foot. Either nestled in the woods or boasting great mountain views, these 3 homes are closest to the Entertainment Hall, tennis and basketball courts, and near the Bobcat’s Loft. One home in Group B has a game room with pool table, foosball and PS5. 

The Panther Creek Farmhouse & Pavilion is located on 100 acres on the north end of the Pigeon River Mountain Retreat property. The Farmhouse & Pavilion offers a pastoral setting for your private event or family reunion. The farmhouse features a wrap-around deck, large kitchen with 3 ovens, 2 refrigerators, and multiple sleeping areas to accommodate up to 18 guests. The pavilion sits above a beautiful creek—a perfect setting for group meals or exchanging vows. 

Across the vast lawn, next door to the Farmhouse, you’ll find a contemporary cottage with three bedrooms that sleep 6 guests, has a new kitchen and comfortable sitting areas.
